about

This track is actually about us being stuck in the basement for two years before we actually played out. Scott came up with this name because of it, the basement was the cage and we were in limbo. The lyrics are about the actual Pelchat basement in Bateman Street in Sanford, ME.

lyrics

Two hot smoking bulbs
A couch a band and a Stereo
A ratty rug and a dire need
To play for anyone

(Chorus)
A lotta years and a million beers
And here we are below
Time has come to really have some fun
And really limbo
We dance, we sing, we drink

A hole in the ground in the ground and a musty stench
Bad notes and a quaging beat
Concrete hole our second home
Til' death do us part

(Chorus)

Me and the boys are gathered around
A lotta love and broken class
Here we are now, so kiss my ass

(Chorus)

Limbo, limbo, limbo cage, limbo, limbo
